Larry passed away Aug. 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Born Feb. 21, 1932 in Burley, ID to William H. and Mary E. Gibson. In his early years they moved to Salt Lake City and he graduated from East High. Married Carole Van Duren July 1, 1950 in Salt Lake City. She passed away Feb. 27, 1988. Married Peggy H. Anderson on June 21, 1994.
He enjoyed his years as a real estate broker and was an honest and caring person with a big heart. He was an avid Jazz and Ute fan. He was a member of the LDS Church and served faithfully.
Survived by his wife, Peggy; children, Judy (Juan) Baez, Larry (Anna) Gibson, Lisa (Ron) Fullerton, Todd (Stacey) Gibson; step-children, Julie (Matt) Vesely, Jennifer (Jeff) Landis, Meghan (Layne) Pantone, Emily (Chris) DeHaan; 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 at 12 Noon in the West Jordan River Oaks Stake Center, 8950 So. 1300 W. where a viewing will be held Wed., Aug. 20, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thurs. 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery/Mortuary.
