Lianne Fullmer

1952 ~ 2016

Lianne Fullmer was born in Sylmar, Southern California to Edgar Cameron Fullmer and Harriet Louise Newby on July 31st 1952.

She was one of the original Valley girls, she spent most of her youth on a farm with her family. She was a rough and tumble kind of kid who loved spending time outdoors leaving her shoes behind. She especially loved the smell of the lemon trees in spring. But, her favorite place to spend time was the beach and she spent as much time there as she could.

Mom possessed a rare beauty and was very successful in beauty pageants in California and Idaho where her family moved in her late teens; trading the Pacific Ocean for Lake Cour d' Alene. While there, she fell in love with and married Greg Kempton. They had three children together; Kemura, Dax, and Lianna. She later moved to Utah Valley where she married Harold Newman and had two more daughters; Angela and Marianna. Now, in addition to her 5 children, she is survived by 16 grandchildren.

She lost her battle with cancer on July 26th 2016 surrounded by her loved ones.

Services in her honor will be held Friday, July 29th at Larkin Mortuary in Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South. The viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. Followed by the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. The internment will immediately follow at Herriman City Cemetery.
