What a sweet lady, our Mother. She was a dear sister, aunt, and friend to those who loved her. She had a true love of nature. She was happiest in the canyons, looking at a sunset, or the simple beauty of flowers. She loved to travel, and the Oregon Coast held a special place in her heart.
In her 79 years of life she had many interests and hobbies which included quilting, reading, traveling, and her devotion to her family.
After remarrying, and moving to Texas she discovered the art of quilt making. All who have been blessed with one of her quilts will cherish it always.
She married Frank Huff in 1955, and they share five children. She later remarried in 1987 to Roger Walters. Her new home was Texas and the warmth of the entire Walters family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She was born July 21, 1936 and passed away October 8, 2015. Survived by her children: Frank R. Huff Jr. (Jean), David J. Huff (Kathleen), Julie H. Goff (Blake), Jennifer H. Breeze (Dan) and Jon E. Huff, as well as 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Utah Family: Janice McClellan, Brent Johnson (Debbie) and Tammy Bellingham (Steve). Texas Family: Lewis E. Walters (Annemarie), Peyton Walters (Tamera) and Paul Walters (Kitty). Preceded in death by her husband, Roger Walters.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct 17th at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E 10600 So Sandy, Utah, with a viewing beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow at Murray City Cemetery.
