Jerry Ann Niederhauser

1932 ~ 2015

Jerry Ann Niederhauser, 82, passed away on the evening of January 21, 2015 of natural causes with her loving family surrounding her. She was born on June 25, 1932 to Ezra Clark and Mary Albrea Knowlton. She married Wilford Niederhauser on July 6, 1951 in Salt Lake City. They had 3 children.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a Church History Mission for several years. She was currently serving as a hostess at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. She was an avid genealogist and traveler. She loved to scour the cemetaries searching for ancestral graves during her travels throughout the world. She was a member of DUP, DAR, and Colonial Dames and enjoyed her times serving within these organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and a dear grandson.

She is survived by her 3 children, Butch (Jessie), Shawna (Bruce) Tidwell, and Steven (Liz), her siblings, Jayne Brewer and Paul Knowlton. She leaves a legacy of 15 surviving grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 6- 8:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Dr. on January 27th, 2015 at 1:00PM. There will be a "Celebration of Her Life" held that evening from 6-8:00pm at the Eagle Gate Social Room to visit, mingle and share memories of her with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, she would have loved donations to the Church Missionary Fund.
