I came into this world on May 2, 1934 to my wonderful father and mother Stott Joseph and Pearl Judson Taylor. I was the last and fourth child. I lost my sister Gloria Henderson in 1961 and my brother Larry Stott Taylor in 1997. I have one sister left Jean (Robert) Jensen.
I have been blessed with two lovely daughters Deanna Lyn Taylor and Shanna Marie (Norm) Nava and my adopted daughter Lisa Asti (Ken) Astin. My greatest time spent on this earth has been with my family, my grandchildren Jace (Kaijsa) Nava, Jaymie Nava and Jakob Harley Astin, great grandchildren Brynlee and Blakely, since I retired. This has truly been a great gift from our Heavenly Father.
To my wonderful and caring wife Marie "Ginger" Marrelli Taylor, I love you truly and thank you so very much for the loving years you gave to me. Carry on for me until we meet again.
I wish to leave this world with a short viewing and graveside service. A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. The graveside service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 South 4100 West.
As a family, would like to share our appreciation to the West Jordan Fire Department and to the doctors, nurses and support staff at St. Mark's Hospital for their loving care of our father.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ron Taylor's name to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The American Heart Association.
