Ercele "Sonny" Abraham Hiskey Jr., 88, of West Jordan, Utah passed away Friday March 6, 2020 at Sunridge Assisted Living.
Sonny was born on December 18, 1931 in Idaho Falls, ID to Ercele A. Hiskey and Clara B. Marker Hiskey. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, ID. Then he enlisted in the armed forces in 1948.
In 1957, he married Orpha Vest in Nevada. They were blessed with two children Micheal and Clara. They were later divorced.
Sonny is survived by his children Micheal Hiskey of West Jordan, UT and Clara (Steve) Lewis of Tigard, OR. He is also survived by his three sisters Marian Tewalt of Boise, ID, Joy (Ralph) Johnston of Idaho Falls, ID, Jean Davidson of Shelley, ID., grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a baby daughter, his parents, and sister Dorothy.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 10th at Larkin Mortuary Downtown, 260 E. South Temple Salt Lake City, UT. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Redwood Memorial Estates in West Jordan, UT.
