June Brooks Walker passed away of natural causes August 25, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born June 27, 1920, she was the oldest child of John Wilford and Margaret Brown Brooks. She was married in the Salt Lake Temple to Keith M. Walker who preceded her in death in 2007. During World War II they made their home in San Francisco where dad served in the United States Navy. Later they returned to Utah where they created a home full of love, reared and nurtured five children, and served their church and extended family as well. Mother conducted a piano studio in her home teaching many children over the years. Her eternal marriage, her home, her children, and her faith in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ were the keystones of her life. Her life was pure in love and devotion. May you dwell in peace mother, until we meet again at the Savior's feet.
