Our much loved mom, granny, great-granny, sister and friend, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, September 20, 2013. She was born in Montrose, Colorado to Wilford and Dolores Comstock. She married Robert T. Nelson and together they had 9 children. They later divorced and she married Kess Nielson.
Joyce is survived by her children, Peggy (Robert) Simmons, Wilford "Al" (Julie), Robert (Paola), Thomas (Elizabeth), Ginny (Paul) Record, Jerry (Denise), 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, as well as brothers Kenneth and Charles. Preceded in death by daughters Georgia, Deborah, Kathryn, sister Betty and parents.
