Bryce Bradley Hunter

1990 ~ 2017

Bryce Bradley Hunter left us on April 22, 2017 to start a new adventure in Heaven after a lifelong fight with Cystic Fibrosis. Bryce was surrounded with love from family and friends when he lost the fight and took his last breath. He is breathing easy now in Heaven without any more pain. Bryce was born December 22, 1990, in Salt Lake City to Bradley Hunter and Tiffany Murtaugh. Bryce had a passion for riding and loved every chance he had to ride his dirt bike. Bryce got his first dirt bike around 5 years old and never stopped riding. He also had a passion for music, head banging as a toddler to heavy metal as his dad got dressed for work. His favorite band was Motley Crue. He saw them several times in concert and thanks to Aaron, he was able to meet them in person a few years ago. Bryce was an incredible artist and loved to draw. He was a huge fan of the Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls and the Denver Broncos. Bryce was ecstatic to finally see his team win the Super Bowl. As a kid Bryce placed bets against the doctors and nurses on the games when he was in the hospital. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing basketball, listening to music, watching sports and his favorite TV shows (usually involving ghost hunting). Bryce had an unbreakable bond with his "Grandma Retta" and wouldn't leave this earth until he saw her. He shared a true love with Amber and loved her children Landon and Everlee as if they were his own. One of the happiest days of his life was when Everlee was born. Bryce is survived by his parents Bradley and Tiana Hunter and Tiffany and Mike Murtaugh; sisters Brittney, Madison and Skyy; brothers Beau, Brayden and Payton; Grandparents Douglas and Loretta Hunter and Kent and Sandi Peterson; and many other family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Dean, Respiratory Therapist Jon, Nurses Renee and Janice and the rest of the IMC nursing staff for taking such great care of our sonat his "Home away from home". Until we meet again.
