Jonathan Glenn Pederson

1982 ~ 2013

Jonathan returned to his heavenly home, Saturday Oct 5, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Shelly Jones and Gary W. Pederson.

He arrived in mortality with red hair and an abundance of energy that complemented his keen mind and insatiable curiosity. He had a great love for his family, his friends, and life. His passion for movies and food equaled his dedication to his teams: The Utah Jazz, Real Salt Lake, and Baltimore Ravens.

His friends describe him as a walking encyclopedia, polite, well-spoken, considerate, and always knew how to have a good time. Everyone will miss him and his creative costumes at the annual Halloween parties. He will be remembered by some friends as a genuine gentleman with a deep romantic streak.

He loved motorcycles, jet skis, rock climbing, or any other adventure that got his heart pumping. He was always willing to play games or participate in any competitive activity. Spending time with family and friends and his love of travel were always a high priority in his life. His sharp sense of humor and ready smile will be missed by everyone.

Survived by parents, Gary and Shelly Pederson, sisters Heather Pederson and Jessica (Seth) Nelson and Grandmother Barbara G. Pederson.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne C. Pederson, Glenn F. and Florence M. Jones
