Paul Clark Moore

1979 ~ 2016

Paul Clark Moore peacefully finished his earthly mission Saturday evening, March 5, 2016, surrounded by family. Paul set an example for his family, friends and acquaintances as an outstanding husband, a loving father, and a devoted, loyal brother, son, and friend.

Paul was born September 24, 1979 in Longmont, Colorado. He graduated from Capital High School in Boise, Idaho, where he participated in a variety of activities. He especially enjoyed friendships gained through Capital Singers and in his church. He faithfully served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Osorno Chile. During this time, he developed a profound love for the Chilean people and a deep testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul received his Bachelor\s Degree at Utah State University, where he met and married his sweetheart, Joni. Paul and Joni began their adventure together by moving to Texas, where Paul earned his Master\s Degree in Human Resources at Texas AandM. Employment with General Electric took the couple to eight states within a period of 7 years. During their travels the couple developed a strong marital bond and many life-long friends. Most importantly, they were blessed with two beautiful daughters whom Paul loved unconditionally. In 2012, the Moore family took advantage of an opportunity to return to Utah, where they could be closer to family and friends.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Joni Young Moore, and their two daughters, Ellie and Reese. Also surviving are his mother, Blythe (James) Berger and father, F. Michael (Susan) Moore; his siblings, Melecia, Steven, Glen, and Joel; step-brothers, Justin, Tyler, Ryan, and Todd, and half-siblings, Eric and Hannah; awesome in-laws, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.

Paul will always be remembered as loving, kind, fair, loyal, reliable, a hard worker, and the world\s greatest Denver Broncos fan. Unsubstantiated rumors suggest that upon hearing of the loss of Denver\s biggest fan, Peyton Manning decided to announce his retirement.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral services for Paul on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Shore Stake Center, 549 South 1525 West, Farmington, with a visitation prior from 9:00-10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy Utah. Donations in Paul\s name may be made to www.gofundme.com/paulmoore
