Amanda Mary Pond and Jonathan Stillman Pond came into this life, courageous and fighting, just like their pioneer ancestors for whom they are named. Amanda Barnes Smith, great-grandmother Mary Elizabeth Moreton Barton, Jonathan Moreton, and Stillman Pond. Although their stay on earth was but a brief one, that is all that was required of them here. They came, received their bodies and then returned home to the waiting and open arms of our loving Heavenly Father and all those who have passed this way before. They are part of an eternal family with their parents, Steven Mark and Mary Kathryn Pond, and their siblings Sydney Kathryn and Jacob Steven Pond. Great-grandmother, Ruby Clark, grandparents, Kelly and Sharon Pond and Samuel and Elizabeth Clark, aunts, uncles, and cousins also look forward to the day when the joyous reunion will occur.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 2350 East, and 1300 South.
The family would like to thank Dr. Matthew Peterson, Dr. Doug Carrell, Dr. Sean Esplin, Heidi Belnap, the IMC nurses and the NICU unit for helping to give us the opportunity to spend time with and hold our little ones while in this life. Now may God hold you in the palm of His hands until we meet again.
