Glen passed away on Saturday June 17, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born in Salt Lake City March 10, 1922 to Lester and Ida Wright. Married the love of his life, Peggy Garrick, in the Salt Lake Temple on November 19, 1945 after serving in the U.S. Navy in World War II for three and a half years, serving on the USS Cleveland in the Pacific theater. He was awarded one silver and four bronze medals. Member of the LDS Church. He loved camping and fishing, and anything outdoors with his family.
Survived by his children, Bill (Susan), Larry (Susan), Diane Tye (Craig), brother Mel Wright, 13 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, spouse, and brother Jack
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South at 2:00 pm. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Interment at Larkin Sunset Lawn.
