George Ivan Crandall 87, passed away October 28, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. He was born to Oma Mae Wells and George Elmer Crandall. Mom passed away during his early teenage years, Grandma Lou (Lucinda) stepped in as a mother figure.
He married Colleen Martin, together they had 4 children. Later divorced, and then married Ruth Farnsworth. George had a long, distinguished career with General Electric. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and skiing. Loved cars especially Volkswagens. Lindy loved to laugh and tell jokes, funny stories, and gave nicknames to everyone. He found great joy in his garden. Family and friends knew him as "Lindy". He will be greatly missed.
Survived by wife Ruth Crandall, Children James (Cindy), Jolene Carlisle, Julie Allison, Jeff Crandall, Brent (Ginger) Fransworth, Lori (Cal) Frye. 14 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Grandma Lou, brothers Paul and Elmer, sisters Edna Park, Margaret Swift, Mary "Ailleen" Scallion.
