Sig was born in Provo, UT on July 13, 1983. He lived his early years in Orem, UT and was an energetic boy who loved to play. He was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age being the youngest of three brothers. Catching lizards and snakes, raising pigeons and accompanying his dad and brothers on hunting and fishing expeditions.
Sig moved to Draper, UT and attended Draper Elementary, Crescentview Middle, and graduated from Alta High School in 2002.
He held various jobs and then found his niche in the construction business, when he started remodeling apartments and condo complexes. He was very skilled at this part of the business. At the time of his death he was a maintenance manager for an apartment complex in Salt Lake City.
Sig was at home in the outdoors. He was an experienced and talented hunter of all types of game animals. He lived in the marshes hunting ducks and geese in the fall seasons. He fished every water hole during the summer. He loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
If you were lucky enough to meet Sig, you were his friend. And he had many friends.
Sig died June 7, 2017. He will be deeply missed.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00am at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 E Dimple Dell Rd (10600 S) in Sandy. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-8:00pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary and one hour prior to the graveside.
