Chanel "Nelie" Nielsen abruptly left this earth on March 25, 2015 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.Chanel was born on August 18, 1992 in Sandy, Utah. The daughter of Jack and Alison Nielsen.
Chanel played softball as a child and competed on high school and college teams. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2010, and achieved Academic All Conference. She also earned a Scholarship to Taft College, a small college in California. She graduated with an Associates Degree in 2012. She passionately sliced meat and cheese as a Deli Manager and she had recently returned to school.
Her smile was like sunshine in a room. She had a magnetic personality and people were drawn to her enthusiasm. She loved generously. She is loved and will be in our hearts forever.
Chanel is survived by her father and mother, Jack and Alison Nielsen, Sister and brother-in-law, Ciara and Craig Jackson; and Nephew, Atley Jackson. In addition, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents, Eldon and Ellen Bowles, Aaron and Jeannine Nielsen; Nephew, Mckai Craig Jackson.
Those that wish to express their love for Chanel are invited to a viewing onSunday March 29, 2015 from 6-8 pmat Larkin Mortuary, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.), Sandy. Funeral Services will be held for close family Monday March 30, 2015 at 11 am.
