Salt Lake City, UT - Willis Arthur Kruetzfeldt, born Sept. 24, 1916 in Verdel, Nebraska to the parents of William and Ida Kruetzfeldt, passed away Sat., Dec. 5, 2015, at his home. Bill graduated high school in Norfolk, NE. He worked at his family hardware store through college. Bill graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Bill's love for creativity influenced his family. He served in the Army Air Corps in WWII.
Bill and his wife of 70 years, Mildred, moved to SLC in 1946. He worked for International Harvester and Firestone Tire. Bill retired from Utah Power and LIght. Bill and his stories will be greatly missed by all.
Bill is survived by his sister, Lois Kruetzfeldt Mangelsen, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and his younger brother, Gene Kruetzfeldt.
