Rhea Curtis Robinson

1925 ~ 2015

Rhea Curtis Robinson, our sweet, loving wife, mother, and grandmother returned home to her Father in Heaven on April 8, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She is happily reunited with her beloved husband, Dean T. Robinson, who she has missed everyday for 12 years.

Rhea was blessed to say "goodbye and I love you" to her two daughters, Claudia (Kenneth) Ross, Debbie (Greg) Whittaker and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren before she passed away.

Rhea, the youngest of 13 children, was born to Theodore and Annie Marie Curtis on June 24, 1925. Thirteen was her lucky number! She cherished her childhood and shared wonderful memories and adventures of life with her 6 brothers and 6 sisters.

Dean and Rhea loved each other deeply, living a very full life together. Rhea worked at home through WWII, while Dean served in Europe. They loved to travel, garden and build homes, which they built several together. It was always fun to go to grandma and grandpa\s house, where grandma\s Sunday roasts were a favorite!

Rhea had a passion for making jewelry and sharing her creations with her daughters and granddaughters. She was a talented writer, with a beautiful singing voice, who wrote whimsical children\s stories to share with those she loved. She was a fun loving spirit, young at heart, who taught her grandchildren how to play card games and enjoy chocolate.

When not at home, she worked as a realtor and volunteered at Cottonwood Hospital as a Pink Lady for many years.

Rhea so loved The Lord and had a lifelong testimony of the LDS Church, serving in many callings during her lifetime. Dean and Rhea loved their family dearly, and never hesitated to express it, they were so very proud of their beautiful daughters who meant the world to them.

Rhea\s last words were of love and concern for her family. She will be greatly missed. We love you Grandma...

Rhea is survived by her two daughters, two son-in-laws, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one sister.

Special thanks for those that cared for her so lovingly and thoughtfully throughout the years.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 am, with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 that same morning, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
