Delores Jo Ann Drage Kidd
1934 - 2019
Our loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Delores Jo Ann Drage Kidd, age 84, passed away at home in Sandy, Utah on February 14, 2019.
Jo Ann was born October 1, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Clarence Drage and Delores Marie Folker. She was raised in East Mill Creek. She attended Sherman Elementary School, Olympus Jr. High School, Granite High School and LDS Business College where she met her beloved husband, Lawrie Keith Kidd. They were married September 3, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Jo Ann worked for twenty-one years at LDS Hospital as a Central Processing Technician. She retired in 1995 to be with her husband. They spent their remaining years together doing Genealogy, Family History, Temple Work and putting together a Kidd Family History Book. Jo Ann enjoyed movies, music, plays, visiting relatives and friends but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She always had nice things to say about everyone and she was very proud of her family's accomplishments. She will be remembered for her kindness, the lessons she taught and the way she lived her life.
She is survived by her sons Aaron (Debbie) Kidd, Orem, Utah; Richard (Danielle) Kidd, Gilbert, Arizona; Dorian (Leanne) Kidd, Orem, Utah; 17 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrie, her daughter Laura Ann Burch, her brother Richard Clarence Drage and her parents.
Services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held at 12:30 to 1:45 P.M. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
