Our beautiful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Beverly Green Gotberg, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the age of 91.Beverly was born on a beautiful spring day on May 12, 1927 to Clemmon Eugene and Esther Wootton Green in Butlerville, Utah. She had wonderful memories of her childhood and loved to share them with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mom married her sweetheart, Wally, on December 2, 1946 in Union, Utah. They were later sealed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Jordan River Temple on February 15, 1992.
Mom loved spending time in her garden, tending her roses and enjoying her beautiful yard.Mom and Dad were avid gardeners and shared their produce with neighbors and family. She loved her family and looked forward to family get-togethers.Mom and Dad loved traveling the United States in their motorhome, camping, fishing and hiking together.
Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wallace Anton, her special son, Wallace Kent, her parents, her brothers, Eugene, Donald, Norman, and her sister, Maxine, who will all welcome Mom with open arms.
She is survived by her children, Wendy Johnson Farnsworth (Kevin) and Terrie Hymas (Kelly); her grandchildren, Elisa Brazell (Cody), Eric Johnson (Stephenie), Erin Ostler, Andrew Ostler (Megan), Kara Mackay (Chase), Kyle Farnsworth, Kourtney Farnsworth, Chad Hymas (Shondell), Jeremy Hymas (Shelley), and Brian Hymas (Melanie); and 25 precious great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Butler 20th Ward located at 1355 East 7200 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.Interment will be at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 South Vine Street, Murray, Utah.
