Zane Anthony Thurber

2010 ~ 2014

Our sweet Zane was tragically and unexpectedly taken from us on January 25. Zane was born to Matthew and Aubrie Thurber on September 25, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Zane was extremely energetic and packed as much as he could in his three short years of life. Yellow was his favorite color. He loved all sorts of music and was especially fond of The Wiggles. He loved wearing his Yellow Submarine Beatles shirt. He had a contagious laugh and a witty sense of humor for someone so young. He loved his Curious George stuffed animal and slept with him every night.

He had a special bond with his brother Holden. Zane loved to tease Holden and wrestle with him. Zane would be upset everyday when we dropped Holden off at school and say how much he missed him. Zane enjoyed going on special little adventures with his dad. Zane was his mom\s little buddy. He hated being away from her. He loved to snuggle with his mom and always twirled her hair in his little hands to get comfort.

We know that Zane had a much greater calling and is with his loving Heavenly Father and his dear relatives that have passed on, especially with his "Unky Tony."

Zane is survived by his parents Matt and Aubrie Thurber, his brother Holden, grandparents: Rachel and Rockey Proctor, Derral Sorensen Jr., Randy and Chris Thurber, great-grandparents: Annie and Derral Sorensen, aunts and uncles: Autumn and Chris Bennett, Brittany Proctor, Taylor and James Hardwick, Kelsey and Jordan Ellis, Julie Thurber, Erin Phoenix, and Zachary Sorensen, cousins: McKenna, Hunter, Easton, Kaiden, Gracin, and Aleah. He is also survived by a large extended family.
