Heidi Frei Forbes returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 17, 2014 at the age of 33, due to complications from pneumonia and the flu.
She was born November 27, 1980 in Murray, Utah to Russell C. and the late Jeralyn G. Frei. She grew up in Kearns and graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1999.
In 2002 she served an LDS mission in Detroit, Michigan. Heidi married Daniel Forbes and on January 15, 2004 they welcomed the light of her life, Spencer Forbes, in to the world. Heidi and Daniel later divorced. She currently resided in Vernal, Utah where she was a loved employee at Deseret Industries.
She is survived by her son Spencer, father Russell, grandmothers Joey Frei and Elaine Seegmiller, brothers Brandon (Mandy), Jake (Jennifer) and Josh, sisters Alecia (Greg) Treaster, Heather (Greg) Jensen, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother Jeralyn, grandfathers LeGrand Frei, Jack Seegmiller, and Gerald Green, two nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.), Sandy. Friends and family may visit at the mortuary on Thursday, January 23 from 6-8:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to services. Interment to follow at Mt. View Memorial Estates Cemetery.
