Scott Edward Jones, age 50, our special mentally handicap son passed away at Woodland Park Rehabilitation Center on December 3, 2019. He was born March 19, 1969 to Dean and Connie Jones. He spent most of his life at the Utah Development Center in American Fork, where he made many friends who loved him. He had many experiences while there, such as going on a few river trips, riding horses, playing in the water and many more. These are cherished memories. Scott later moved to Woodland Park Rehabilitation Center and again made many friends. We would like to express our appreciation to all those who loved and took care of Scott, too many to name them all. The care at both places was wonderful.
Scott is survived by his brother Mark (Linda) and sisters Kim (James), Debra (Frank) and Michele (Ed). Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 S., where friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service.
Scott, you are a chosen son and will never be forgotten.
