Cindy Lee Kay Hendrickson passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on the 20th of November, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cindy was born on October 20, 1958 in Salt Lake City, Ut to Vaughn and Betty Kay. Married Jim Hendrickson in June of 1978 in Salt Lake City, later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. Cindy fought valiantly through various health problems and illnesses for the last 10 years; but no matter the circumstances she never stopped fighting. She was a strong woman, a good example, and friend to many. She loved her kids and grandkids an awful lot! She loved spending time with them in various outdoor activities, such as boating, camping, etc. She loved visiting St. George.
Cindy was preceded in death by her brother Charles, grandparents; Helen and Albert, step-grandmother Phyllis, grandpa Blair, and step-grandmother Eleanor, and mother-in-law Dora.
Survived by her parents, sister Patty Coones, children; Terra (Joe) Newton, Shawn (Stacey), Vaughn (Sharleen), husband James, grandchildren; Tyler, Dylan, Carter, Calvin, Alyssa, and Autumn.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 1pm at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Road, A viewing will be held from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at Larkin Mortuary ‚ Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South prior to the graveside service. A special thanks to her best friend, Peggy and to the University of Utah Hospital for their compassionate care.
