Beloved wife, mother and friend, Dana Nielson Hensler, age 73, passed from this earth early Monday, October 22, 2018 at her home in American Fork, Utah. Born May 19, 1945 to William Martin Nielson and Sena K. Nielson in Mount Pleasant, Utah, Dana attended High School in Ephraim, Utah.
Dana enjoyed working with her hands and using her creativity in many ways, including: crochet, oil painting, sewing, gardening, making Christmas ornaments and candy, and many other artistic endeavors.
She is survived by her two loving sons, Kelly Richard Hensler and Billy Scott Hensler(Allison); grandchildren Zachary (Amanda), Cody, Tyson ( Madeline), Lindsey (Kasey) and Mariah; two great-grandchildren Zaiden and Axel, brother and sisters she loved dearly; JoAnn, Camille, Sandra, Pete, and Janel; beloved cousins, nephews and nieces and numerous friends.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Friday, November 2, 2018 in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 East Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. A visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 10AM.
