Our brave and beautiful mother, daughter, sister and friend Kenna lost her struggle with breast cancer on Monday morning May 1, 2017. Born Aug. 25, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Betty and Kenneth Durrant, Kenna and was raised in Sandy, UT where she graduated from Alta High in 1990 and then attended SLCC. While in high school, Kenna met her sweetheart, Edward Marshall. After waiting for him to serve a fulltime LDS mission, they were married and sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 10, 1994. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving where and however she was able. She was always planning the next adventure for all of us. Ever up for an evening out, she loved being with her daughter. An avid football enthusiast, her favorite players were her sons.
She is survived by her husband Edward, sons Brandon and Matthew, daughter Kaitlyn, mother, sisters, brother, in-laws, nieces, nephews and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her father, aunts, uncles, grandparents, brothers in-law and sister in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Sagecrest Ward, 1280 East Turquoise Way, Sandy, UT. Visitations will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy and Saturday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
