Naomi Greene

1918 ~ 2014

Eva Naomi Greene passed away on May 13, 2014 after 95 years of love,laughter and loyalty. Naomi was the proud and devoted daughter of Albert and Letticia Quist. In 1940 she married Bill Greene her true love and partner in every sense of the word. Together they raised three children and had the opportunity to assist in raising two grandchildren as well. They were married for more than 69 years at the time of Bill\s passing. Naomi was an accomplished pianist, seamstress and knitter. She loved golf,music and was an amazing cook. Naomi had a beautifully optimistic outlook on life. She found joy in each day and always focused on her many blessings. She spent a life-time in service to her children and grandchildren. She always made time for her loved ones. Her listening ear and open heart have blessed the lives of all who knew her. She spent many years in service to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which she loved dearly. Even past the age of 90 she continued her service by making items for the LDS Humanitarian Center. Naomi had a great sense of humor she loved to laugh and was never afraid to laugh at herself. Her memory will be cherished and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter Marie Jex, Letty ( Kurt) Coy and son Bruce. 8 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be heldFriday, May 16th from 6:00-8:00pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17th at 2:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
