Heidi Sno Johnsen

1964 ~ 2018

Our sweet mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Heidi Sno Johnsen, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2018, surrounded by her children and loved ones. She was born in Salt Lake City on September 2, 1964, a daughter of Lucy Nielsen Hatch (Brent). She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she loved her calling as a Primary teacher. She attended Uintah Elementary, East High, Cottonwood High, and the University of Utah, where she was a member of the Tri-Delta sorority. Heidi's talented insight into people and the business world were evidenced by her success as a financial entrepreneur, and real estate agent with Coldwell Banker and Berkshire Hathaway.

Heidi married Rick Lindsey (later divorced) and they celebrated the births of Parker and Zane. Later, Heidi married Brad Johnsen (later divorced) and she welcomed his children Katie, Ashley, Peter, Megan, and Dane into her heart. Abi was born soon after, and she was the bond that brought them all together.

Heidi had a fun, vivacious personality that radiated kindness, and left a lasting impression on all who met her. Her love of travel took her on countless adventures around the world and close to home. Her favorite place of all was Lake Powell, and she cherished her memories of trips that were filled with love and laughter with her family and many friends. Heidi loved music ‚ everything from Toby Keith to Justin Bieber ‚ and she was never one to miss a good concert. She had an intuitive eye for quality and a talent for making everything around her beautiful and abundant. She was considered a second mom to many of her kids' friends and her friends' children. Believing in "No Empty Chairs," she welcomed all into her home and into her heart.

The memories and loving presence she gave to her family and friends will hold an unwavering place in our hearts.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Parker Lindsey, Zane Lindsey, and Abi Johnsen; her parents Brent and Lucy Hatch; brother Randy Klein (Marla); sister Jodi Wood (Scott); brother, Shaun Baker; step-children Katie Henrie (Kameron), Ashley Roberts (Ryan), Megan Cope (Kris), Peter Johnsen, and Dane Johnsen; seven grandchildren, and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Baker and her brother, Mike Baker.
