Michael Armstrong Moreton was born on July 23, 1966 to Fred and Lucy Moreton. He passed away December 21, 2015 at the age of 49.
Mike graduated from the University of Utah in 1988 where he affiliated with BetaTheta Pi fraternity. He then received his M.B.A. from Westminster in 1992. He worked alongside his father for most of his life: in the garage as a young boy, on the boat, in the duck blind and then later in the office as a stockbroker. Michael was married to Heidi Moreton-Sleater from 1988 to 2008. They have two children, Brighton and Hunter Moreton.
Michael will be remembered for his infectious laugh, mischievous behavior, and playful sense of humor. Mike loved his kids and was always the instigator of water fights and tomfoolery. Never to be seen without his polo, loafers, cuffed jeans and keen sense of style. Michael was an avid hunter, golfer and loved the outdoors. His family is forever grateful for those who helped and supported Mike through his battle with illness. He lost the battle but he will always be remembered for his courage and strength.
His older brother Joe preceded Mike in death, and he is survived by his two outstanding children Brighton and Hunter Moreton, his parents Lucy Wilkins Moreton and Fred Moreton, his sisters Sarah (Sandy) Ballou, Lucy (Justin) Hawes, and Elizabeth (J.D.) Radakovich and their families.
