Our feisty, independent much-loved mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother slipped into eternity and the arms of her sweetheart Bill on December 1, 2015.
Paulette was born September 7, 1925 to Lucien and Cecille Bisquer Forsse in the apartment above her parent's laundry business in Oakland, California. She was a gifted student and graduate of UC Berkeley. Paulette studied violin and piano and loved to ice skate. She enjoyed spending time in Yosemite every year. Paulette also enjoyed long-distance running and ran her first marathon in Bordeaux, France at the age of 70. In 1944 Paulette met Bill at the Oakland Ice Rink while he was on shore leave from the USS Intrepid. They were married March 1946 and celebrated 67 years of marriage. Bill passed away May 2013.
Paulette is survived by her children Gail Bullock of Sandy, and Mike Parsons (Marylou) of Newark, California, seven grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and more to follow. Our family extends special thanks to Dr. Nathan Ragle, University Huntsman Cancer, and Care Source Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations to Huntsman Cancer or the Yosemite Conservancy are appreciated.
A celebration of Paulette\s life will be held Tuesday, December 8 at 12:45PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, Utah. There will be a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM.
