Robert D. McCullough

1932 ~ 2015

Robert (Bob) McCullough age 83 passed away peacefully after a short illness. He married Shirley Ann Johnson August 29, 1992.

They loved to golf, read, work in the yard, play with grandchildren and watch the Jazz together. Bob grew up in Salt Lake City the youngest of three.

He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Hiram McCullough, Nellie Fern Davis and his sister Betty (Keith) Davis. He married Geri (Jensen) Finch April 22, 1953; they later divorced but remained good friends. Bob served in the United States Air Force at 18. He knew the value of hard work; he was intelligent, strong and always had an opinion about everything! He was talented and made many things in his wood shop, he was very handy and could fix just about anything. One of his favorite hobbies was flying his own plane. He also loved to hunt and fish. He founded Rocky Mountain Wrecker Sales in 1968. He retired in 1993.

He is survived by his loving wife Shirley, his brother Curtis McCullough Jr. and his children Vicki (Doug) Koontz, Rhonda (John) Savoy, Linda (Rick) Crane, Tresa (Glenn) Cook, Jennifer (David) Vincent and sons John "JJ" Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson; 12 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and his walking partner Olaf.

Bob requested that we celebrate his life with an Open House; it will be held on Friday; April 10, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 in the evening at his daughters' home located at 14846 South 1690 West, Bluffdale, Utah. Online condolences may be shared at www.larkincares.com
