Arlene Patricia Masters Hansen passed from this life and into the waiting arms of her loving husband, Reese Hansen, on February 19, 2016. She was born to Paul Walter and Hilda Moeller Masters on June 18, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born the younger of twin sisters, she is survived by her twin Arden Park (Harvey) and was preceded in death by her little brother Bruce Edson Masters. She married Reese Allen Hansen in May of 1951 and gave birth to two children, Jeffrey Allen Hansen (Peggy) and Elaine Patricia Clark (Lloyd) who were the grateful recipients of over 60 years of love at the hand of their mother. She passed away of natural causes in the presence of Jeff, Peggy and Elaine in her son's St. George home. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over 60 years having converted as a young mother and served faithfully in various positions in the Grant 7th Ward. Her professional career encompassed over 32 years of service to elementary children in the Granite School District. She is survived by her son and daughter, 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place at the Brookshire Ward, 3487 S. 1300 E. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E.
