Janice was born September 15, 1932 to LeGrande and Louise McDonald in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended school in the Holladay area and graduated from Granite High School. She married Norman Greenwood in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 18, 1950. She chose to be reunited with her sweetheart on their 65th wedding anniversary. Janice has 2 sons, Michael (Sharon) and Ryan (Jamie), 1 daughter, Shaun, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, mother and husband.
Janice enjoyed cooking, camping, waterskiing, swimming, and traveling - both in and out of the USA. Later in life she enjoyed a good book, a good meal, and keeping up with family and friends. She served in many positions in the LDS church and was always faithful in fulfilling them to the best of her ability. We will miss you, sweet wonderful mom, good friend, kind neighbor and especially your ability to make everything better.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:45 ‚ 10:45 at the Mount Jordan 3rd Ward Chapel, 8950 South 400 East, Sandy. Friends may visit Sunday, August 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens cemetery.
