Shirley Call Hunsaker, 83, passed away on Dec. 28, 2013 in Peoria, AZ. Shirley was born on May 18, 1930 in Iowa to Les and Leah Hogge Call. She was raised in Montana and Idaho. She graduated from BYU and taught elementary school. She married the love of her life Quinten Hunsaker in the Idaho Falls Temple on January 25, 1957. They lived in California for 20 years and in Sandy, UT since 1980. Shirley served a LDS mission in Central America (1953-1955) and returned there in 1971 to assist her husband as a Mission President. Throughout her life, she served faithfully in the LDS Church. She enjoyed Family History Research, writing her own detailed life history, playing the violin and piano and singing in several trios. Shirley's life was filled with happiness and many blessings. She was loved dearly by her husband Quinten, who passed away in 2007, her four children Michael (Ginger), Cindy (Del Mitchell), Eileen, and Darren (Tara), and eleven grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, UT. Graveside services will follow at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 N 800 E. Condolences at www.larkincares.com
