Shakina was born April 14, 2001 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was suddenly taken from us on July 23, 2017. Born to Nycole Cintron (Dansie) and Travis Maynard. Shakina was an avid reader and loved fantasy. Shakina loved giving hugs, whether you like it or not or expected it. She dazzled everyone with her contagious laugh and her beautiful duck lips. She was very passionate with her coloring and giving them away as gifts. Shakina shared a special relationship with her stepfather, Hector.
Shakina is survived by her mom Nycole (Hector) Cintron and her dad Travis Maynard. Siblings: Feliciana, Mateo, Braden, Shaleena, Vanesa and Elyzabeth. Grandparents: Yvette (Grant) Merrell, LiLla Syndergaard, Les (Leighann) Maynard and Wayne (Pepper) Dansie. Aunts (10) and Uncles (8) and Cousins (27).
Preceded in death by her great grandparents: Merlin and Yvonne Smith, Thelma Dansie, Martin Merrell, and Clair Eastman. Uncle Jason Downard, Aunt Melissa Merrell and Cousin Brittany Sisam.
A viewing will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Larkin Mortuary Riverton (3688 W. 12600 S. Riverton, UT). Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at Larkin Mortuary Riverton. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens on 1075 E. 4580 S. Millcreek, UT.
