Lloyd Calvin Burnett, age 90, passed away on February 11, 2017 in Orem, Utah. He was born on February 14, 1926 in Rio, Florida, to Lonnie Drew Burnett and Mable Irene Hill. He married Jean Peterson in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Lloyd spent 35 years in government service including the Navy and the CIA. He lived for many years in Latin America and Washington D.C during his employment.
He was a dedicated member of the LDS church and was given many callings including serving his mission in Uruguay.
Survivors include his children; Stephen (Valerie) Burnett, Anne (Scott) Schroeder, Michael Burnett, Richard (Becky) Burnett, Susan (Dan) Lyons, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean and his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11:00am at Timpview 3rd and 5th wardhouse, 865 W. 1000 N. in Orem. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:30-10:45am at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City.
