Shirley R. Livingston Mclaughlan, 76, passed away peacefully July 1, 2015 in the LDS Hospital Salt Lake City, holding hands with her sister Analee. Born May 28, 1939 in the only hospital located above a bank in Richfield, Utah.
Mom is reunited with her husband (Buzz) Robert Mclaughlan and her parents Bernez and Thomas Lewis. Mom graduated West High School, Salt Lake City, 1957. She worked for Mountain Bell as a directory assistance operator, and in doing so served as a CWA Union officer. Mom so loved her Shelties, raising many and participating with her sister Tomi in showing some of her dogs in shows. Mom did enjoy the occasional trip to Wendover with her sisters. She loved her music and art, painting pictures which will live on in memory of her.
Mom is survived by her two sons Roger and Danny Livingston, sisters Analee, Bardee, Trudy and Tomi along with many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. The family wishes to express its most humble, profound gratitude for the hero's at LDS hospital and AStep Forward Hospice.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Larkin Mortuary (260 E South Temple, Salt Lake City). Condolences can be shared at www.larkinmortuary.com.
