Danny passed away on April 10, 2018. He was born to Julius Daniel and LaVerne Moore Koester on October 29, 1932. Graduated from West High in 1951. Danny married Elaine Bishop March 19, 1951. He retired as a salesman from Nabisco, was a ski instructor for Park City Resort for 50 years and worked for Central Valley Golf. He was a private pilot, loved golf, hunting, fishing and working at the cabin.
He is survived by Elaine, his 3 children Mick (Kathy), Wade (Laura), Jody (Jeff) Nash, grandchildren Lynn and Lori (Baylee, Shyanne and Oaklee), Craig and Jamie (Ayden, Gibson, Logan, Norah), Katie and Travis Mander (Jaxon, Mason, Rylee, Kaden), Mary and Russell Jones (Seth, Kayla,JR, River), great granddaughter Hunter, his brother Rob (Renee). Preceded in death by daughter in law Carrie, grandson Todd and sister Wanda.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 12:30 pm at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 "N" Street, SLC UT with a viewing prior from 10 am to 12 pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, SLC UT. No flowers please. Donations to Good Shepherd Hospice 801-277-6474.
