Michael Frank Gilbert died August 8, 2014, at age 48 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born July 4, 1966, in Salt Lake City to Richard M. and Nancy E. Dunn Gilbert. He married Lori A. Prasek on March 10, 1986, in Salt Lake City.
He attended South High School. He was a hard-working man who loved his family and his Mt. Dew. He loved to laugh, and we will all have fond memories of our husband, father and brother. You will be greatly missed, but we will meet again.
Survived by wife Lori and children Sean, Mike, Alvin and Mary. Preceded in death by son Alan and parents.
There will be a viewing Friday, August 15, 6 to 8 p.m., at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. There will also be a viewing Saturday, August 16, 11:30 to 12:30, at Larkin Mortuary followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Salt Lake City Cemetery (4th Avenue and N Street).
