Stafford Gordon Glaus

1955 ~ 2017

You Went away so suddenly, We did not say Good-bye,

but Brothers can never be parted, because memories never die.

On Friday November 3, 2017, Stafford shed the pains that life brings and moved on to a new adventure. Born June 11, 1955 to Gordon E. and Joan Thompson Glaus, the second of three boys. He attended local schools, graduating from Skyline High School and then attending Utah State University. He married Anita Cowley (divorced), Molly Ryan (divorced) and spent 15 years with companion Ketya Richardson.

His love for his friends could only be rivaled by his passion for the outdoors. Staff loved camping, fishing, hiking, golf and most of all skiing. He worked for Jans Sporting Goods in Park City and Deer Valley and was a golf instructor at Wasatch State Park in Midway. One of his proudest accomplishments was the home he built in Midway. In 1999, he traveled to the warmth of the Virgin Islands where he worked as a property manager and settled into the island life with Ketya until her death in 2014. After moving back to Utah in 2016 he rekindled his relationship with Molly.

Stafford is survived by his brother, Brad (Sheri), Sister in law Becky Glaus, niece Lindsey (Creed) Stobbe, nephews Tyler Glaus, Rylee, Briggs and Tobin Glaus, and Carter, Jack and James Stobbe. Also survived by partner, Molly Todd.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Parker and companion Ketya Richardson.
