Lanny Fay Campbell Sr. returned to live with our Father in Heaven on February 3, 2017. He was born on December 16, 1945 to Zillah May Marler and Fay Loveland Campbell.
He grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from East High School. He married the love of his life, Lorraine May Keener, on March 22, 1965. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah temple on July 17, 1970.
His loving wife and three beautiful children survive him: Son Lanny Jr. (Jennifer) in Burley, Idaho, Daughter Kathy May and son Michael Jared — both of Salt Lake City. He had five grandchildren who love, honor and adore him: Christopher, Jeremy, Jared, Joshua, and Alyssa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Rula and his brother-in-law Pat Redmond.
Lanny was loved by all and will be missed!
Friends may call at a viewing on Monday, February 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple in Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7 at 11 a.m. A short viewing will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Garden Park Ward house 1150 E. Yale Ave. in Salt Lake City.
Interment will take place at Elysian Gardens.
