Our loving wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma, Margaret "Peggy" Nance, passed away on November 30, 2018. Peggy was born on November 9, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA to Wesley O. and Alice M. Smith.
She taught elementary school for 30 years in California and Utah. She retired in 1995. She married Clyde V. Nance on June 1, 1980.
Peggy loved to travel. The Tetons were her favorite place to visit in the summer. She liked to garden, but her passion was to teach. She wanted to touch as many young lives as she could and hoped she made a positive difference in their future.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband Clyde V. Nance, three sons: Jeffery, Darryl and Neil Whitaker, daughter, Christine Whitaker Rambo, two stepchildren, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
A celebration of Peggy's life will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary of Riverton, 3688 W. 12600 S., Riverton, Utah.
