Mark passed away on December 10, 2014 in Sandy, UT. He was born in Green River, WY to Lloyd and Beatrice Birch. Mark grew up in Coalville and Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School.
He was in the Army Air Corps at the end of WWII. After his service, Mark joined the Ogden City Police Department and then the Utah Highway Patrol where he served for over 40 years. He received a Purple Heart for being wounded in the line of duty.
Mark married Vivienne Bingham and together they had four children. Viv was his soulmate and he loved and lived for his family.
He is survived by his children Barbara Schreck, Cheryl (Craig) Kendall, Robyn (Bobby) Lemos and Brad (Pam) Birch, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, sister Linda (Jim) Travis, numerous nieces, nephews and "in-laws". Preceded in death by his loving wife, his sister Karma and brother Lloyd.
