Our loving mother and grandmother, Aurina Johnina (Rena) Cozza Hobbs, age 101, returned peacefully to her Heavenly Father on August 26, 2015, surrounded by her loving daughters.
Rena was born August 5, 1914, in Hiawatha, Utah to John Battista and Irene Botticelli Cozza. She was married to Louis Long in 1934. They were blessed with their daughter, Shirley Ann. They later divorced. She met the love of her life, Harvey Gates Hobbs, they married October 4, 1945. They too were blessed with a daughter, Joyce Irene. Harvey introduced her to golf, bowling, and travel. She became an avid golfer and bowler until the age of 97. She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, at the age of 92. She was sealed to Harvey in 2008 in the Bountiful LDS Temple. Rena loved family parties and looked forward to being with her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor and a quick wit.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, parents and 6 siblings Louie, Nick, Ida Olsen, Anne Donnels, Don and John. Rena has a beautiful posterity. It all began with two daughters, Shirley Ann Duggar Moosman and Joyce Irene Romig. Shirley gave her 5 grandchildren and Joyce gave her 4. From these 9 grandchildren, she has 17 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
