Joyce G. Stout, age 87, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family February 11, 2015. Joyce was born in Sandy, Utah February 25, 1927 to Clyde and Laura Gillespie. She spent her entire life in the Salt Lake area, marrying Kenneth Stout November 19, 1948. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She will be remembered always for her hard work and tireless support to her family.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth. Joyce is survived by her four sons, Douglas, Russell, Kenneth (David), and Kurt, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thanks to all the health care professionals who have assisted her over the years, including Physician Home Care, Millcreek Home Health, Salus Homecare, Home Instead, and most recently, Emeritus of Salt Lake.
A private graveside service for friends and family will be on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City.
