Norma N. Garn

Norma - Naisbitt Garn died January 11, 2020 at the age of 99 at Creekside Memory Care after suffering a fall. Anyone who knew Norma knew her as a vital warm independent productive individual.

Norma was born in Logan, Utah to Lesley Dale Naisbitt and Irene Hendrickson Naisbitt and was the fourth of six children. Norma was preceded in death by husbands, Garn Edwards, Colonel William H. Monay, and Stacey Garn; her daughter, Linda Elliott; her son, G. Richard Edwards; her grandsons Kurt Elliott and Torrey Edwards; and her siblings Kay, Nadine, Jack, and Stan. She is survived by her sister Nancy Armstrong.

In her professional life, Norma was a secretary and event planner to the State Highway department of Salt Lake City. Norma was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She attended Logan Utah State University and Salt Lake business college. She was a member of the singing group \Sweet Adelines.\ She cherished her times at \chokecherry\ in Logan canyon.

Other surviving family members are daughter-in-law Brenda Edwards Thompson, Grandchildren Krista Mecham, Tarran Edwards, Patrick Edwards, and their spouses. 12 Great grandchildren; 6 Great great grandchildren; and many nieces. Family would like to say a heartfelt \"thank you\" to the staff at Creek Stride for the love and care shone to Norma.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Logan City Cemetery, Logan Utah.
