Randall Bart Kiser

1950 ~ 2018

Randall Bart Kiser-- Dad, friend, golfer,radiologist, skier and husband--passed away on April 13th, 2018 at Brighton Ski Resort. He died at the age 68 on the ski slope while participating in a sport he loved.

Bart was born to George and Patricia Kiser on April 4th, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the first of six children. His childhood years were spent moving from naval base to base as his father served in the Navy and later in the Air Force as a pilot and prosthodontist.

Bart was educated at Brigham Young University before pursuing a medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He went on to complete a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

He married Susan Jensen in the Jordan River temple on December 16th, 1989 and they were blessed with four beautiful children: Kendall, Rebecca, Matthew and Alissa. They brought such joy to his life. The majority of their upbringing occurred in Rexburg, Idaho where Bart worked as a radiologist. Later in 2011, the family moved to Mapleton, Utah and there Bart worked for a teleradiology company, vRad up until the day he died.

Bart was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many church callings, including missionary in Germany,elder'squorum president, bishopric counselor, high councilor, Sunday schoolteacher, and nursery leader. Bart loved the temple and was currently serving as an ordinance worker in the Payson Temple.

He loved his faith and his family who love and honor him in gratitude and in deep love for unmeasurable blessings he unselfishly gave to them. Unitedly, Bart and his family share the beliefs that life continues beyond the grave and they can be together forever.

Bart is survived by his wife Susan, sons Kendall and Matthew, daughters Rebecca and Alissa, siblings Todd (Julie), Craig (Beccy), Rick (Connie), David (Kathy), and Kimberly (Bob),and sister-in-laws Allyson (Martin) and Rebecca Elisabeth Jensen.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 21stat 11:00 a.m. at the Mapleton LDS South Main chapel locatedat1316 South Main Street, Mapleton. A viewing will precede the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Another viewing will be held on Friday, April 20thfrom 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the same location. Interment will be in Salt Lake City at the Sunset Lawn Larkin Cemetery.
