Beth E Johnson, age 85, passed away peacefully at home onFriday, September 18, 2015.
She was born on July 7, 1930 in Marion, UT to Hugh Alvah Evans and Leaone Maxwell Evans. She loved to cook, decorate cakes, plant flowers, she had a gift for crochet, knitting and tatting. She made wedding cakes and catered wedding for many years. She also made lots of candy of all different types. She had a love of travel including Spain, Australia, Hawaii and loved taking cruises and they would go "South for the winter".
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brother s and 1 sister.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years; Elmer Johnson, children; Curtis (Dianne), JaNean (Terry), DeMont, Colette (Jerry) and LaVell, sister; Bernice (Craig), eleven grandchildren and one great grandson.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 at noon at Millcreek 2nd Ward, 4220 S. Jeannine Dr. (420 E) in SLC. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6-8pm at the church and from 10:30-11:30 prior to the service.
