Beverly June Penman passed away October 23, 2013 following a long and
courageous battle with leukemia. She was born on March 13, 1928 in
SaltLake City to Wilford and Blanche Larson and graduated from South High
School. She is survived by her sister Anna (Ralph) Biesinger and
Hugh(Fern) Larson.
She married Don Penman in June 1946. Together they had four children, Pat
(Nancy), Karl (Beckie), Cathy (Dick Norton) and Jill(Steven Schroader).
She was a wonderful partner to Don and was a large reason for his business
success with Progressive Music. Beverlywas a loving mother who raised
four children that were truly blessed to have such a dedicated and selfless
mother. She always wanted the best livesfor her children and helped them
succeed in whatever they pursued. She was so proud of her four granddaughters
Annie, Debra, Karla and Daniellewho were also showered with her love.
Beverly was an artist who created many beautiful oil paintings and ceramics
that fill her family's and friend's homes. She enjoyed reading
andspending time with her family. She also enjoyed trying new restaurants
and remembered various travels by the food she had eaten. Beverly never
meta stranger. She would make everyone feel at ease and always placed
other's needs before her own. She will truly be missed by all who knew
her.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Don in 2007 and her youngest
daughter Jill in 2011.
Much appreciation goes to Imelda Castillofor the friendship and loving
care she provided these past few years allowing Beverly to remain in her home.
Cremation has taken place and private graveside services will be held at noon on Monday November
4th.
