In loving memory of Diana Ruth DeMet who passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, and is now resting peacefully in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior. Diana was born December 17, 1956 in Racine, Wisconsin.She was the second oldest of 11 children and loved spending time with her siblings. She married Scott Charles Lane and together they raised 3 beautiful children in Southern Utah. Diana was kind, thoughtful, had a heart of gold. She strongly cared for others and loved her children deeply. She was a big fan of Marilyn Monroe and Doris Day and loved watching classical and Lifetime movies. Diana was very creative and talented. She enjoyed spending her time writing, making crafts, and sewing. She loved animals and was a proud grandmother to her children\s fur babies.
She is survived by her children Victoria (Timothy) Jones, Kevin (Bethany) Lane, and Rochelle Lane. And her siblings Jim DeMet, Jennifer Humphries (Rick), Darlene Archuleta (Tim), Joy Petersen (Larry), Peter DeMet (Darlene), Jeff DeMet (Christina), Suzanne Lovato (David), Bobby DeMet, Michelle DeMet and Jonathan Demet. She is also survived by her parents Judy James (Mark) and James DeMet as well as many nieces and nephews.
We will all miss Diana dearly, but we know she is very happy to see her grandma Heegeman in heaven.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, where friends and family may visit from 12:45 ‚ 1:45 p.m.
